Scouts always honor our country's veterans.

Each year, thousands of scouts spend a morning or a day at their local cemetery before Memorial Day to decorate the graves of veterans with flags, including Troop 447 in Fremont, CA, pictured here. Scouts also honor our veterans by parading the colors for Memorial Day and Veteran's Day.

Community service and honoring our veterans is part of Scouting America.
