🌶️ CHILI COOK-OFF UPDATE! 🌶️

We were looking forward to a fun-filled day of delicious chili, friendly competition, and great company!

Unfortunately, with participation a little lighter than we’d hoped, we’ve made the decision to cancel this weekend’s Chili Cook-Off.

A big thank-you to everyone who showed interest and enthusiasm! ❤️

We love bringing our community together, and while this event didn’t quite come together as planned, we’re looking forward to more opportunities to gather, have fun, and make wonderful memories!

We had a very small 2 person glean today… Suzy did a great job with the peppers!

2026 Members… if you could glean a small 30x50 residential garden with mostly spicy peppers, would you be interested?

Produce varieties are as follows:

Jalapeno
Sugar Rush peach (spicy like a jalapeno)
Anaheim chili
Hot Hungarian wax
Serrano
Cayenne long slim
Poblano (small)
Hot cherry peppers (few)
Sweet banana pepper
Ahi Dulce (sweet to mild… many!)
Maybe some… shish*to, pepperoncini, sweet cherry
Some green tomatoes

The garden can handle only 3-5 people and it would have to be Saturday afternoon. Please comment below if you are interested. If more than 5 people reply, we will pull names on Friday at 3 pm. Garden is in Crossville off of 70E between roundabout and Crab Orchard.

The time is drawing near for our first-ever Chili Showdown, and we couldn't be more excited! This event is OPEN to the public for both tasting AND entering, so bring your appetite and your best recipes! YOU will be the judges deciding who takes home the top prize.

This event is LIVE on our website. Only those who are entering the chili showdown need to register. If you are attending the event to taste all the chili's that have been entered, there is no registration process. However, please do put the date and time on your calendar so you do not miss out on this FUN event!
