A young man MUST understand that growth and leadership don’t happen overnight.

It starts with the choices you make every day and continues through the relationships you build along the way.

🔄 CONSISTENCY BUILDS TRUST
When your actions consistently match your words, people learn they can depend on you. Showing up matters. Being reliable matters. Consistency is where trust begins.

When trust is established, you begin to believe in yourself and the people supporting you. Confidence grows when you know you have someone in your corner and when others see that they can count on you.

Confidence gives you the courage to make decisions, take responsibility, face challenges, and lead others in the right direction.

Bringing an event of this scale together requires dedication and resilience. As the saying goes: “If you can quit when it gets hard, you wasn’t called to do it!”

Right now, nearly 50 MILLION Gen Zers are stepping up to shape the civic landscape, but active citizenship doesn’t magically activate on someone’s 18th birthday. It starts with education, grows through action, and thrives when young people realize their voices truly carry weight.

🚨 The Gap We Must Close:
3 out of 4 youth believe they have the power to change the country, yet only 2 out of 5 feel qualified to participate in politics.

31% of non-voting youth cited lack of information, busy schedules, or conflicts holding them back.
41% turnout among 18- and 19-year-olds proves why preparing young people before their first election matters.

The Man Project is looking for dedicated community members willing to invest just 1 hour, twice a month (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays) beginning in September to help shape the next generation in schools in Central Alabama

Every student deserves to be celebrated like this on day one! 🎒✨

The Man Project’s Mentoring Admin team, Cresslan & Clifford Kennon and Executive Director Richard Cade, had an amazing time welcoming students back for the first day of school @ Clay Elementary School & Pleasant Grove Elementary

Through our “STRONGER TOGETHER • GREATER TOGETHER • LEGACY FOREVER” initiative, we’ve been showing up at school doors greeting the scholars for 8 years strong now. Building community & empowering young minds.

Let’s make this school year their absolute best year yet! 🙌🏿📚
