✨ Our Hearts Are Full — Thank You ✨
We’ve been reflecting on our Wish Fund event all week, and we’re still blown away by the love, generosity, and support from our community. Because of everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, or helped spread the word, we raised $24,466 to support families in Clinton, Essex & Franklin Counties who are facing the unimaginable. 💛
For anyone who may not know, the Wish Fund was created in 2016 to help individuals with a dire diagnosis make lasting memories with the people they love most. These aren’t wishes for things — they’re wishes for time, for moments, for memories their families can hold onto forever. ✨
So far, we’ve been able to grant 33 meaningful wishes, including:
🌟 Trips to Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, SeaWorld, and even a cross-country adventure
🌟 Family getaways to Myrtle Beach, Las Vegas, Arlington, VA, Old Forge, Lake Placid, Maine, and Boston
🌟 A memorable stay at Great Wolf Lodge
🌟 A special trip to the Bronx Zoo
🌟 A family trip to Virginia for NASCAR
🌟 A seasonal campsite in Peru
🌟 Unforgettable experiences like a Bruins game, golf trip, birthday dinner, and even a horse show in Oklahoma
🌟 Special meals and quiet, meaningful time with loved ones
Each of these wishes is a reminder of how precious life is and how deeply it matters to simply be with the people we love. 💛
We also continue to honor the memory of Mary Fry, whose passion and vision created the Wish Fund. Even though she passed in 2019, her heart is still at the center of everything we do. 🌻
