Happy Dairy Month from Wisconsin Farm Bureau!

This month, we’re celebrating the hardworking Wisconsin dairy farmers who care for their cows, support their communities and help keep our state’s agricultural tradition strong. Thank you to the farm families who work every day to provide wholesome dairy products for families here in Wisconsin and around the world.

The last senior we are recognizing is Raina Brown!

Major: Agricultural Education
Graduation Plans: Work as a Middle and High School Agricultural Educator and FFA advisor in Iowa or Wisconsin.

Favorite CFB memory: Attending her first YFA conference

Favorite thing about UWP: I love how tight-knit the UW-Platteville community is, especially in the School of Agriculture.

Piece of Advice: Take advantage of every opportunity that you come across and develop a willingness to accept help and support from others.

CFB involvement: I have been involved with CFB since my first semester at UW-Platteville. I have attended several conferences, including the YFA and IGNITE conferences. I have also helped with Ag in the Classroom visits and represented the club at involvement fairs and by carrying the banner in the homecoming parade. Most recently, I have enjoyed serving as a Brag About Ag event co-chair with Brooke Grossheim to plan this year's event.

We can't wait to see all of the amazing things you will do after graduation!

Favorite Memory in CFB: Going to Ag Day at the Capitol and being able to spread the voice of agriculture to legislators

Favorite thing about UWP: The involvement opportunities that this campus has to offer both in and outside of the agriculture industry.

Piece of Advice: Always try new things, it might be scary in the moment, but it could turn out to be a really great story and opportunity.
