Technology is so incredibly cool and we LOVE this unlock for serving kiddos with disabilities. When Payton was a toddler I OBSESSED about seats. I spent HOURS searching stores and websites to find anything that we could sit him in and help him experience mobility and freedom. We struck out so much. The AEA helped us with a few solutions but I always felt an unmet need. These Toddler Mobility Trainers would've been perfect, and yeah....I'm a but jealous now. Hehe. But this is so cool and their model of vetting Makers with 3D printing to produce them all over the world is even more amazing. 🫶

And we're off!!! Making Payton's Wish come true with a trip to San Diego!!

Thank you so much to all the chapters who are helping with this once in a lifetime dream! Make-A-Wish Missouri & Kansas, Make-A-Wish Wisconsin, and Make-A-Wish San Diego! Also thank you to Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care for helping with Payton's seat for our flight. It's been a life saver!!! So grateful and happy that Payton has been healthy enough for this to happen finally! 💙

Not many people can say that they live next to Santa. But we can! Or at least "his summer home" for the remaining believer in our house.

Every year, our neighbor Santa and Mrs. Claus, open their home to take photos with families in exchange for donations of socks and underwear to give to kids in need. Unfortunately due to illness, they won't be able to host this event in December this year. So our neighbors and us felt it was best to run a Christmas in July donation to bring some healing joy in their honor.

July is Disability Pride Month, and one of the best ways to celebrate is by being an ally.

Being an ally doesn't require having all the answers. It starts with listening, learning, and making a conscious effort to create a community where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and included. Our communities are stronger when everyone belongs. Whether it's using respectful language, speaking up for accessibility, or simply asking before offering help, small actions can make a lasting difference.

This month, we invite you to join us in celebrating disability, identity, inclusion, and the unique contributions of people with disabilities—not just in July, but every day.

Make a Wish sent a sweet little Thank You package to Payton for his fundraiser. His total ended up at $3150 and we are just so grateful for our community that did this with us. 🫶 The sweetest little inclusion was the Art by Grace- another Wish kid- hoping for a trip to Disney World. You all made this wish closer to granted!!

We are just so blown away by the kindness shown on Payton’s birthday for this event we threw together very last minute. We are so grateful for the community of people we have near and far!! Thank you beyond words for supporting and Make-A-Wish Missouri & Kansas!!

Happy 13th Birthday Payton!! We love you so much and can't wait to celebrate you today!! Payton's Make a Wish Fundraiser Lemonade Stand opens at 11AM. We also have MAWnster cookies as well!! Its going to be a gorgeous day!!

Today was supposed to be the day we left for Payton's Make a Wish trip. We were going to ring in his 13th birthday (on Sunday) in San Diego at Sea World. Sadly, due to his ongoing health issues, our trip is off. For now anyways.

Instead of feeling super sad about this, we decided this was the best way to feel better and still make it super special. By having a fundraiser lemonade stand for Make a Wish to help give other kids a chance at a life changing experience.
