🥎 IT’S MORE THAN JUST A GAME 🥎

Our third tournament motto came from Ann Riggs herself:

✨ “It’s more than just a game” ✨

And that couldn’t be more true.

Craig was diagnosed during softball season. What started as teammates and softball friendships quickly became something so much bigger — family.

Karlee and Allie were young and unable to drive. Day after day, the softball community showed up. Parents, coaches, teammates, and friends helped get the girls to practices, tournaments, and out-of-state games.

People stepped in without hesitation.
Meals were shared.
Memories were made.
Love showed up every single day.

The softball field became more than dirt and bases. It became a place of support, healing, laughter, and community during one of the hardest times imaginable.

That is why this tournament exists.

Yes, we come to play softball. We put on the jerseys, lace up the cleats, and compete. But when the games are over and everyone gathers around tables laughing, eating dinner, making TikToks, and telling stories… that’s the real reason we’re here.

Because when the uniforms come off, this community becomes family. 💛

🥎 It’s more than just a game. 🥎

HAVE FUN. DON’T SUCK. 🤩🥎

If you knew Craig Riggs, then you probably heard him say:

✨ “Have fun. Don’t suck.” ✨

What started as words of wisdom for his girls, KARLEE and Allie, quickly became something every player he coached heard on a regular basis. 😂

Simple? Yes.
Legendary? Also yes.

At the heart of it, Craig always wanted softball to be fun. He wanted kids to compete hard, laugh harder, and enjoy every second they got to spend on the field together.

That’s how our second tournament motto was born:

🥎 HAVE FUN. DON’T SUCK. 🥎

It reminds us not to take ourselves too seriously. Play hard. Be a good teammate. Make memories. Laugh in the dugout. Celebrate the little moments.

Because years from now, the wins and losses fade… but the memories with your people don’t.

So this weekend:
🤩 Have fun.
🔥 Play hard.
💛 Love your people.
…and most importantly… don’t suck.
