🕷️⚡ When Spider-Man Meets Lightning McQueen… ❤️

We had a pretty EPIC crossover in Denton today! 🕷️🏎️⚡

Season of Smiles Foundation had the opportunity to come out and support Free to Dream Youth Foundation , Divine Grace Ministries, and Bee of Service at Serve Denton doing great work in the community—and we happened to run into a local superhero along the way!

Spider-Man + Lightning McQueen in the same place?!

The kids might have loved it…but we’re not sure the adults were any less excited. 😄

As fun as these photos are, today represents something even more important to us.

Season of Smiles isn’t just about the events we host. It’s about showing up. It’s about supporting other organizations, building relationships within our communities, and working together to create more opportunities for children to experience joy.

There is room for all of us to make a difference—and when nonprofits, volunteers and community members come together, we can reach so many more children than any of us could alone. ❤️

We’re grateful for the opportunity to spend the day in Denton, Texas, supporting another organization and meeting some pretty amazing people along the way.

And apparently Lightning McQueen has officially joined the superhero universe. 😉⚡🕷️

❤️ To Our Incredible Volunteers — THANK YOU!

Today would not have been possible without YOU.

To every volunteer who showed up early, stayed late, checked in families, handed out wristbands, organized backpacks, served cake, helped with activities, managed lines, took photos, distributed prizes, cleaned up, answered questions, jumped in wherever needed—and did it all with a smile—thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

You didn’t just volunteer at an event today.

You helped a child feel celebrated. 🎂
You helped a student feel prepared for a new school year. 🎒
You helped a family feel welcomed and supported. ❤️
And you helped turn an idea Adam and I had into something very real and very special.

Watching our volunteers work together today was one of the most meaningful parts of the entire experience for us. There were so many moving pieces behind the scenes, and you handled them with kindness, flexibility, enthusiasm, and a genuine desire to serve.

At Season of Smiles Foundation, our mission is to bring smiles to children in every season of life.

Today, you were the people who made those smiles happen.

We hope you know how much your time mattered and how grateful we are that you chose to spend part of your Saturday serving alongside us.

We couldn’t have done it without you—and we can’t wait to serve alongside you again.

🎉 What. A. Day. ❤️

We are so excited to share that our Season of Smiles Back-to-School & Summer Birthday Celebration was a huge success!

Today was everything we hoped it would be—and more. We watched children celebrate summer birthdays, receive backpacks and school supplies, enjoy activities, win some incredible prizes, and most importantly… SMILE. 😊

To every family who joined us today: thank you for allowing us to celebrate your children and be a small part of your family’s story. Seeing their excitement and joy is exactly why Season of Smiles exists.

To our amazing volunteers—we simply could not have done this without you. You showed up early, worked hard, adapted wherever you were needed, welcomed our families with kindness, and helped turn a vision into something truly special. We are incredibly grateful for each of you.

And to every donor, sponsor, community partner, friend, and supporter who contributed supplies, prizes, resources, time, encouragement, or financial support: you helped make today possible. ❤️

Our mission at Season of Smiles Foundation is to bring smiles to children in every season of life, and today we had the privilege of watching that mission come to life right in front of us.

Our hearts are incredibly full.

This is just the beginning. We can’t wait to share more from today’s celebration…and we’re already excited about the smiles still to come.

Big thank you to Chick-fil-A at 75/Campbell in Richardson TX for collecting school supplies for the Season of Smiles Foundation event in August. We are grateful for the partnership and for a community that is helping to set up children for a successful school year!

❤️ We are officially at capacity! ❤️

The response to our Season of Smiles Back-to-School & Summer Birthday Celebration has been incredible, and we are excited to share that we have reached our registration capacity for this year’s event!

To every family who registered, every volunteer who signed up, and every individual and organization who has supported our mission, thank you! Your encouragement reminds us why Season of Smiles Foundation exists…to help children feel seen, celebrated, and supported.

While we’re no longer able to accept additional registrations for our August 8 event, this is only the beginning. We are already dreaming, planning, and looking forward to future opportunities to serve even more children and families throughout our community.

If you weren’t able to register this time, we hope you’ll stay connected with us. We’ll be announcing future events, volunteer opportunities, and ways to get involved on our Facebook and LinkedIn pages.
