All of our panelists, college speakers, workshop presenters, volunteers, and Board can't wait for our 2023 Summer Expo this Saturday, 7/29, from 1-4 PM at Parr Library (6200 Windhaven Pkwy, Plano, TX 75093).

Hello everyone! We're excited to announce that Girls in STEM will be holding our 2023 Summer Expo on Saturday, July 29, from 1-4 PM at Parr Library (6200 Windhaven Pkwy, Plano, TX 75093).

You'll have the chance to explore potential career paths with our professional speaker panel, connect with current college students and Girls in STEM alumni, and participate in engaging workshops. this past sunday we held our end of semester all-chapters officers meeting. we are in constant communication with our officers in adapting to offer more of what our members want to see. thank you to every single one of our members for trusting us with your time and in turn, joining our GIS community this semester. we have so much more in store, just you wait 😉

one of the best ways to do a friendsgiving is over pasta🍝. change our minds.
this past thanksgiving break we celebrated friendsgiving over dinner at buca di beppo with some of our wonderful dallas officers. we’d like to say thank you to all of our members and officers alike for helping us build this community of girls who show up for one another and strive to move the needle. it’s only up from here✨🍂

Girls in STEM Summer Expo 2019! 🤩 After months of planning and thanks to our generous sponsors DFW ATW, State Farm, and r2 Technologies, our event was a success. With over 250 attendees and 9 different guest organizations, we were able to empower many girls in our community with various hands-on STEM activities! Day 4 of our STEM workshops was a huge success!! On Thursday, we went to the Cedar Springs Boys and Girls Club. The kids loved our activities and were so inspired. This was our biggest group yet and we all had so much fun! 💙🌉🥽

You’re never to young to dream big! 👩🏽‍🔬 Often, ideas that are put into kids minds last forever.
The past few days Girls In STEM has been teaching the incredible applications of STEM to elementary kids in Plano. On Monday and Tuesday we went to Mathews and Boggess Elementary’s. The kids had a blast and learned so much about STEM! 🔋 🥽⛵️🚀🚙🏗

Officers Jackie Lasut, Emily Chang and Grace Wang led a meeting about this semester’s agenda, filled with guest speakers, outreach opportunities like Digital Divas and hosting events like our annual Summer Expo.
