🐾 Fido’s Friends = Green Grass for Happy Paws! 🐾

Thanks to the generous support of the Plano Parks Foundation, our dog parks are getting a winter boost! 🌱❄️

The Foundation recently received a $500 donation to Fido’s Friends, which will be used for winter turf maintenance. This will help keep the grass healthy, green, and ready for you and your pup to enjoy all season long. 🐶💚

You can help, too!
Donate $100 and receive a special tag for your four-legged friend as a thank-you for supporting our dog parks. Visit: https://www.planoparksfoundation.org/fidos-friends 🏷️🐕

Every contribution helps keep our parks safe, clean, and beautiful for the entire community! 🐾✨

Exciting News for Plano Parks Foundation! We’re thrilled to share that Plano Parks and Recreation has received a $5,000 'Our Texas, Our Future,' grant through the Foundation and Keep Texas Beautiful to expand native pollinator wildflower plantings across our parks and trails!

This project will:
✨ Continue to enhance the beauty of Plano’s natural spaces
💧 Reduce water use
🦋 Restore habitats for pollinators
🌱 Promote sustainable land management

The Plano Parks Foundation funded wildflower seeds —will be planted later this month to allow for proper overwintering and vibrant blooms next spring! Keep an eye out for an updated Wildflower location map in early 2026.

From March to May 2026, we’ll be monitoring bloom progress and documenting wildlife activity on iNaturalist—and we encourage YOU to join in! Stay tuned for updates as Plano’s parks burst into color this spring!
