💕What an adventure! Our NiHao Youth Ambassadors are wrapping up an unforgettable tour across China with the Soong Ching Ling Foundation. It is a meaningful exchange between two charitable organizations dedicated to public good and a bright future for the world!

First stop: Shanghai. The energy? Off the charts. Skyline for days, buzzing streets, and a city that literally never slows down. ⚡

Then on to Beijing, where history comes alive at every corner. The ambassadors didn’t just see the culture, but they also got their hands dirty trying calligraphy and lacquer beadwork, connecting with centuries of tradition. Turns out painting those perfect brushstrokes is way harder than it looks! 🖌️

And Chengdu? Be still our hearts. 🐼 We teamed up with local middle schoolers to paint pandas together. Because honestly, who doesn’t love pandas?

As two nonprofits committed to community and cultural understanding, NiHao and the Soong Ching Ling Foundation made this trip about so much more than the sights. It was about connection: new friends, new perspectives, traditional Chinese culture, and memories these ambassadors will carry for life. ❤️

From Volunteers to Changemakers 💚 On May 9th, our NiHao members went behind the scenes at the North Texas Food Bank and walked away inspired.

John Jenkins reminded us why this work matters: 47 million Americans don't know where their next meal is coming from. But with the power of volunteers, NTFB provided over 116 million pounds of food to communities in need last year.

James Huang challenged us to think bigger, moving from volunteer ➡️ leader ➡️ changemaker. And NiHao alumna Ella Liu proved that's exactly what happens, sharing how her time with NiHao sparked a passion for service that followed her all the way to college.

We wrapped the day with a warehouse tour, seeing firsthand where the mission comes to life 🏭🌱
