Kids in the Middle - Plainville Youth Services

Kids in the Middle - Plainville Youth Services KIM provides volunteer opportunities that allow students to develop positive self-esteem and become caring members of our community.

Welcome to the Kids in the Middle (KIM) page! The Kids in the Middle program is a United Way funded program sponsored by Plainville Youth Services. The KIM program supports middle school children by providing opportunities for children to get more involved with their school and community. KIM provides fun opportunities to experience volunteerism, team building, career exploration, and sel

f esteem building activities over the course of the school year and summer. The staff at Plainville Youth Services, a Town department that works closely with the schools, coordinates the activities. These activities take place after school, on weekends, and occasionally during the school day. Some of the locations for KIM activities include the Plainville Housing Authority, the Wheeler Regional YMCA, Plainville Health Care, Plainville Daycare, United Way of Bristol, and the Plainville Association for Re****ed Citizens. Students also volunteer at the Oak Hill School, which is located within the Middle School of Plainville.
