The Chicagoland Be A Hero Fun Run brings our community together each year in Plainfield, IL, to raise awareness and support for METAvivor Research and Support, Inc., the only U.S. nonprofit dedicated to metastatic breast cancer (MBC) research, awareness, and patient support. Our mission: To honor the heroes living with MBC, remember those we’ve lost, and raise vital funds for life-saving research,

hope, and progress toward a cure. What makes us different:

100% of all donations made to METAvivor go directly to metastatic breast cancer research. Together, we celebrate life, fuel hope, and fight for a future where cures are possible.
