Members, we are having a special meeting at the post on Monday 04 May 2026 at 1900 hrs / 7:00 pm. We will be discussing work on the bar/post, post bylaws and bar management. This meeting is important to decide future operations of the post, so all please attend.

The Smart Home program serves veterans by building or equipping existing homes with such things as automated lighting, wider hallways and wheelchair-accessible showers.

To all service member in the River Valley area, we need your help!

We are working to rebuild membership at our Plain American Legion Post #398. We have an enduring mission to look after our comrades in arms, to take care of our Veterans and we need your help!

If you cant imagine a 4th of July or Memorial day parade without the Legion carrying the colors, join now.

If you cant imagine a small town without a Legion ball diamond, join now.

If you cant imagine the funeral of a service member without the honors due to them, JOIN NOW.

After our long hiatus, our post will now be holding meetings on the second Monday of every month at 7:00 pm. We have a beautiful post located on the Westbrook Hills Golf Course in Plain, come check us out and serve this nation again. We need you!

The Plain American Legion had a busy Veterans day. We began the morning at a wonderful ceremony at River Valley in Spring Green. We then finished the day with a flag raising and presentation at St. Luke, Plain.

What a great way to spend the day experiencing the joy and love of home that we give and receive from our kids and grandchildren.
