On Saturday, September 26th, Old Town Placentia came together for more than just a good time—we came together for a good cause and the veterans who have served our country.
The Placentia Firefighters’ Association proudly led this fundraiser from the very first sign-up to the final bag toss, with 100% of the proceeds donated to American Legion Post 277.
From the beginning, our goal was to bring this event into the heart of Old Town Placentia—a location that would not only put the spotlight on the fundraiser, but also support our neighboring local businesses and keep us within walking distance of the Legion.
This cause hits especially close to home. Some of our own Placentia firefighters have also worn another uniform and served our country. Supporting the veterans and families of Post 277 is another way we can continue serving the community that means so much to us.
The funds raised will help support the remodel of American Legion Post 277, helping preserve a place that has long served as a home, gathering space, and source of support for local veterans and their families.
To our firefighters who put in the work behind the scenes, our community partners who helped make it possible, the Old Town businesses who welcomed us, and every single person who showed up to play, donate, cheer, and support—THANK YOU. ❤️🤍💙
