🎉We Got Our First Grant!🎉
The Somerset County Commissioners have awarded BTEC $15,000 in Community Benefit funds to support restoration efforts at the historic Bijou Theatre. As our very first grant award, this milestone not only provides funds to start our work; it represents confidence in our mission.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Somerset County Commissioners for their support and belief in this project. We are also grateful to the many volunteers, donors, and community members whose encouragement and generosity continue to move BTEC's efforts forward.

Efforts are already underway to stabilize and renovate the marquee, seats are being reupholstered, the facade will be painted in a few weeks and the basement bathroom renovation is one of our next projects along with meeting fire safety codes.

The Warsaw 7th graders created this amazing video as part of their solutionary learning project. Congratulations to Maine School Administrative District #53 for this amazing initiative. You are certainly teaching our young people important life skills and contributing to our community at the same time. We are honored and proud and grateful.

Tomorrow (June 9) is the last day to Bid before the auction on any of the 45+ pieces of artwork available at the Warsaw Art Auction to Benefit the Bijou being held on June 10.
You can also bid in person at the event this Wednesday. Details on our website!

The Art Show/Auction at Warsaw Middle School on Wed. June 10th from 4 to 6 PM is sponsored by the 7th grade. Proceeds from the auction will go to the Bijou Theatre and Enrichment Center.

Bids may be submitted for the artists' works in person at the show from 4 to 6 PM or online today by going to
