Defeating ALS Defeating ALS is committed to raising awareness and funding to find a cause and cure for Lou Gehrigs disease. In memory of Marie Alger and Steven Engels

Approximately 30,000 people in the U.S. are living with ALS. It claims some 5,600 lives each year. Our family has been affected twice - Sue's mom in 1988, Frank's brother in 2007. DefeatingALS posts, shares and cross-promotes events across the US and world that raise funds and/or awareness of Lou Gehrig's disease. Anyone, anywhere can send us the details of your event and we will help you get the word out!
