Lloyd A. Tyler Council No. 3 Supports S.O.M.E. Through Community Service Initiative
On May 15, 2026, Thrice Illustrious Master Trey Ridley of Lloyd A. Tyler Council No. 3, under the Prince Hall Grand Council of the Jurisdiction of the District of Columbia, demonstrated the true spirit of charity and service through a meaningful act of benevolence at S.O.M.E. (So Others Might Eat).
TIM Trey Ridley coordinated the collection and distribution of non-perishable food items in support of individuals and families facing food insecurity within the community. Through the collective efforts of the Council and supporting members, numerous food donations were gathered and delivered to the S.O.M.E. Food Warehouse to assist in ongoing hunger relief efforts.
This charitable initiative reflects the longstanding Masonic principles of brotherly love, relief, and truth, while reinforcing the commitment of Lloyd A. Tyler Council No. 3 to uplifting and supporting those in need. The donation effort not only provided essential resources to the organization, but also served as a reminder of the importance of community partnership and compassionate service.
S.O.M.E., a respected organization dedicated to serving the poor and homeless throughout the Washington, D.C. area, continues to make a lasting impact through its food distribution and supportive programs. The contribution organized by TIM Trey Ridley will help further that mission and provide assistance to many who rely on these services.
Lloyd A. Tyler Council No. 3 remains steadfast in its dedication to charitable outreach and community engagement, exemplifying the teachings and values of Prince Hall Masonry through action and service
