Weekend Food Support Starts With Community

Every week, local volunteers come together to pack food for Laurel County students who need a little extra support over the weekend.

These bags are more than food—they’re our community showing local kids that they matter. ❤️

We’re grateful for every volunteer and for our partnership with God's Pantry Food Bank

This is what community looks like.

Behind every food bag is a group of local volunteers giving their time to help Laurel County students. Together, we pack food at God’s Pantry Food Bank so students who need extra support have food to take home for the weekend.

It’s neighbors helping neighbors—and our kids are at the heart of it all. ❤️

Helping Feed Laurel County Students—One Weekend at a Time

The Backpack Program of Laurel County provides food for local students who may need a little extra support over the weekend. Food is packed into bags by local volunteers at God’s Pantry Food Bank, delivered to our schools, and sent home discreetly with students each Friday.

It takes a community to make it happen! ❤️

As a new school year begins, so does a new opportunity to make a difference in the life of a child.

Every weekend, hundreds of local students rely on the Backpack Program for food when school meals aren’t available. Together, we can help ensure no child has to wonder where their next meal will come from.

There are many ways you can make an impact:
• Donate
• Volunteer at one of our packings.
• Sponsor a backpack packing.
• Sponsor a student.
• Keep our children, volunteers, and this program in your prayers.

Thankful for the support of the community in this fundraiser. 💜
