Bhagat and several families in the Edison area of New Jersey began celebrating three key festivals—Ramnavami, Janmashtami, and Diwali—at Dr. I.T. By 2007, some Bhagat families initiated bi-weekly Samagam Satsang meetings. During this period, Swami Jagdish Chandra Maharaj visited New Jersey, inspiring greater community involvement. This led to the first Bhagat Samaj picnic in 2009, which further en

couraged more family participation. After the COVID-19 pandemic, activities shifted online, but in September 2022, the New Jersey Bhagat Samaj organization was officially established. The organization expanded its reach, including families from Pennsylvania, Maryland, Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey.
