Rutgers Scarlet Cross Medieval Reenactment Club Hello, we are Scarlet Cross! Scarlet Cross is an undergraduate student organization at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

If you're a Rutgers University student who enjoys crafts, history, or dueling your friends in armored combat, we are the club for you! Our group's purpose is not only to study, but to re-enact some of the more interesting parts of Medieval history. We research life in the medieval period, (600–1600 CE ) and attempt to recreate many of the day to day activities that many people living back then wou

ld have experienced. If you like: crafting, needlework, costuming, leatherworking, metalworking (and many other activities), we have something for you! We also do recreation armored combat with padded weapons!

This past Sunday Scarlet Cross went to the New York Ren Faire in Tuxedo, NY! We had an absolutely fantastic time there!
