It was a nice breezy gathering this evening at the VFW Post 4258, during the Flag Retirement ceremony. We shared the experience with the VFW Post, the American Legion, their respective Auxiliaries, the Scouts, and the PC Fire Dept. We thank all of those who came out to join us on Flag Day.

Many hands help lighten the work load. We placed flags at the local cemetery at the graves of our veterans for Memorial Day.

Come support our fundraising efforts and grab a bunch of goodies for a great deal. Bring your tattered American flags in, we are collecting them for the flag retirement ceremony in June.

Pine City Novak-Milliren Post #4258 and Auxiliary will be conducting our 2nd Annual VFW Day of Service at Birchwood Cemetery on Saturday May 2nd, 2026, at 9am. Once again, we will partner with several military and youth Non-Profit Orgs. to include, but are not limited to, the Pine City American Legion Post #51 and their Auxiliary, Pine City Legion Riders, Sons of the American Legion, Pine City Beyond the Yellow Ribbon 🎗️, and Local Scouts to conduct Birchwood Cemetery Beautification prior to Memorial Day. 🇺🇸

Yesterday, a group of VFW Post and Auxiliary members from Pine City Post 4258, American Legion Post, Auxiliary, and Rider members from Pine City Post 51, our own Pine County’s Veteran Service Officer, and a mother of a Veteran, traveled down to the State Capital to represent local Veterans at “Veterans on the Hill”. Our group joined more than 500 other Veterans and advocates from around the state of Minnesota. Ending our day with a meeting with Senator Jason Rarick and Representative Nathan Nelson to discuss our concerns. It was an interesting and informative experience for all who attended.
