We have a lot of good things coming up that you might like to join us for! Check out art club on Thursday, August 27 from 6 to 8 PM for a free creative chill with some nice people. Attend our fall membership meeting on Thursday, September 10 from 6 to 8 PM and have your voice heard as we create this community. We want to share your creative spirit and put the spotlight on you, so send an email to PCCA public [email protected] with your interest. And finally, we are in print! Join us for our free monthly Art club tonight from 6 to 8 PM at the Pine Castle Woman’s Club, 5901 S. Orange Ave. in Orlando. Bring whatever you’re working on and have a couple of hours of peaceful creative time where you can meet new creative friends, or catch up with the ones you already know!

We just can’t get enough of creating together! If you haven’t joined us for Art Club yet, we welcome you to join us for a relaxing time where we each work on our individual projects, but all in the same room. It’s very relaxing, we usually have some chill Lofi music on low for ambience, and there are plenty of friendly people ready to share a table with you. If you don’t have a creative project you’re currently working on, we will have some art supplies handy so that you can make something if you wish. You don’t have to be a member to join us, and it is a free event! Artists under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
¡Nos encanta crear juntos! Si aún no te has unido a nuestro Club de Arte, te invitamos a disfrutar de un rato de relax donde cada uno trabaja en su proyecto individual, pero todos en la misma sala. Es un ambiente muy tranquilo; solemos poner música Lofi relajante a bajo volumen para crear un ambiente agradable, y encontrarás mucha gente amable dispuesta a compartir una mesa contigo. Si no tienes un proyecto creativo en mente, tendremos materiales de arte a tu disposición para que puedas crear algo si lo deseas. No es necesario ser miembro para participar, ¡y es un evento gratuito! Los artistas menores de 18 años deben estar acompañados por un adulto responsable.

Workshop Week is almost here! Saturday, June 20th is our only workshop that is not at the women’s club. In our final workshop of workshop week, we meet at The Crawford House. You will learn from Orlando Urban Skechers about the global community, the practice of creating on location, ans a little bit about the history of The Crawford House. Then we’ll draw together to create something you can keep or use as a postcard to send to a loved one. Basic sketching materials will be provided, but bring your favorite sketchbook and a camp chair, stool, or even picnic blanket for your comfort. Let’s get ready for this sketch party!

This workshop location is at The Crawford House, 631 Wilks Ave. in Orlando. Affordable fun and learning, $15 per person (non-members) and only $10 for PCCA members.

Workshop Week is almost here! Friday, June 19th is painting themed. In the second of two workshops this day, you’ll be guided by Mark Baird to create a landscape painting of your very own. We’ve seen Mark help people who have barely touched a brush to create something really beautiful that they are proud of, and that can be you, too! All are welcome.

Workshop Week is almost here! Thursday, June 18th is all about getting creative with your journaling. In the second of two workshops this day, Hillary Geiger will show you how to use the basic set of scrapbook tools to create your own travel. Journal. Bring 6 to 10 photos and memorabilia such as ticket stubs, pamphlets, and stamps from a trip, and you will have the start of your own travel journal. All are welcome.
