Robert and Roy represented the club at the recent Arkansas Food Bank annual Summer Cereal Drive at Super 1 Foods (28th and Hazel on 8 June) and made the first contribution of the day $200 to kickoff the Jefferson County campaign. Jurnee Taylor served as the THV 11 host for the event. We are pleased to participate in this vital life changing activity and continue the noteworthy work in Pine Bluff/Jefferson County of the late Wanda Bateman who was known as Arkansas’ Summer Cereal Queen. Let peace prevail on earth! Peace pole # 1 is unveiled at the Pine Bluff Memorial Gardens on May 14, 2026, with the city being the primary partner for the project. We are grateful for all who supported this project and event. Thanks to Immediate Past President Miloud for accepting the challenge to raise funds for the pole. Thanks to the city council for granting us permission to install the pole. Thanks to President Kevin for carrying out the vision and completing this project. Thanks to the club members who supported this initiative. Thanks to David, Roy, Alan, Tish, Lamont, all the language readers and all those who were present as spectators to make the event a great success. Let us Unite for Good.

President Kevin has installed the first Rotary Peace Pole at the city’s Memorial Gardens area near the Municipal Complex. The pole will be unveiled this Thursday, 14 May 2026, at Noon. All our members and the public are invited to gather for this momentous occasion. Rotary International promotes Peace and Conflict Resolution across the globe, and our club is its promoter in our community. Let Peace prevail!

Expo Impact - Lagos Bracelet Raffle winner Lisa Whyte Wiley was elated by her prize, Linda was glad to present a Bath and Body Works collection to Robin Woods who was overjoyed to win her prize. Olivia Lyons won the 30 Piece Crew Pack from Wing Stop but was not able to make it back to the Expo to receive her certificate. The Imagination Library received a much needed donation from the club to help with subscriptions. It was a great day at the Expo and we made a lasting impact.
