Our inaugural session today exceeded expectations. We started with a fun and interactive icebreaker game, enabling participants to establish connections. Throughout the session, our attendees remained attentive, engaged, and entertained.

After Dr. Tish Bullard 's impressive presentation on entering a room, grooming, and image, the ladies were poised to apply their modern etiquette skills during our mock networking mixer. They networked with Southeast Arkansas College President Dr. Tyrone Jackson and members of the Executive Leadership Team, faculty, and staff.

They demonstrated a remarkable ability to learn quickly. I received positive feedback from colleagues, who appreciated the opportunity to engage with them.

πŸ’œ Today, it begins. πŸ’œ

What started as an idea, a prayer, and a vision to invest in the next generation of young women is officially becoming a reality.

Today, the inaugural She Leads Pine Bluff cohort begins.

But this is more than a summer program.

It's about building confidence.
It's about creating opportunities.
It's about helping young women discover their voice, their value, and their potential.

The future leaders of Pine Bluff are already here. We're simply helping them see it in themselves!

Exciting things are ahead for She Leads Pine Bluff!

I'm grateful to share that The Generator has joined us as a Presenting Sponsor for our inaugural cohort.

This partnership represents more than sponsorship, it represents a shared commitment to investing in the next generation of young women leaders right here in Pine Bluff.

Together, we're already exploring future opportunities including leadership workshops, fireside chats, networking events, and a community leadership summit designed to inspire, connect, and empower emerging leaders.

Thank you, Ryan Watley and The Generator, for believing in this vision.

Please help us welcome Ky'lah White to the inaugural She Leads Pine Bluff cohort! πŸ’œ

She is a rising 9th grade student at White Hall High School.

Ky'Lah's mother Eboni, a current SEARK student, had this to say, "I believe this program would help boost her confidence by encouraging her to step outside of her comfort zone, use her voice, and recognize her potential as a young leader. She is intelligent, caring, and capable, and I want her to be surrounded by mentors and experiences that will continue to build her self-esteem and help her believe in herself even more.

Participating in She Leads Pine Bluff would also give her the opportunity to make new friends with other motivated young ladies who share similar goals and values. Building healthy friendships and strong support systems during high school is extremely important, and I believe this program would connect her with positive influences and lasting relationships.

In addition, I would love for her to gain accountability partnersβ€”young women and mentors who will encourage her to stay focused, set goals, and continue striving for success academically and personally. Having a circle of support and encouragement can make a lasting impact as she transitions into high school and begins preparing for her future."

Congratulations, Ky'Lah, we can't wait to see you thrive!
