On October 11th, the horse community will come together at the Crow Wing County Fairgrounds for the Jacob Borgstrom Memorial Fun Show.

What started as a way to remember Jacob has continued to grow because of the incredible support of our community. This year, we’re excited to share that the Jacob Borgstrom Memorial Scholarship has grown to $1,000 per year! 🎓

The scholarship is awarded to students in the Brainerd Lakes Area and surrounding communities as they pursue their dreams of higher education.

We are currently looking for donations for the silent auction held during the Memorial Fun Show.

Have a business or service you’d like to showcase? Have a gift certificate, basket, item, or something you’d like to donate?

Every donation helps us continue growing Jacob’s scholarship and creating opportunities for local students. 💙

If you’d like to donate, please message the Boots'n Buckles Saddle Club. They can arrange pickup, or donations can be brought to the show.

That’s why Jacob’s Voice exists.

Jacob’s story is a painful reminder of just how serious cyberbullying can be. We can’t change what happened to Jacob, but we can make sure his story continues to be heard and that his message reaches more people.

We are incredibly grateful to Brainerd International Raceway and Kristi for giving Jacob’s Voice a place to share his story, talk about the impact of cyberbullying, and remind people that what we say and do online matters.

Thank you for standing with us, for believing in this mission, and for helping us turn something so heartbreaking into a message of kindness, awareness, and hope. 💙

Joe is one of those security guards who always has a smile, no matter what he’s dealing with. He’s out there keeping the peace and always making time for a friendly smile!

We are so proud of you for taking the initiative to start a community outreach effort focused on raising awareness about Kindness & Cyberbullying and its impact. 👏💙
