📣 DILL COMMUNITY CENTER SCHEDULE UPDATE 📣

Just a quick update so everyone can get their calendars straight!

The only event planned at the Dill Community Center during September will be our annual:

🍂 Dill Community Reunion
📅 Saturday, September 26

We had previously planned a Poor Man’s Supper and Community Meeting for September 12, but we have decided to postpone those events. There will be NO event or meeting at the Community Center on September 12.

🏡 31st ANNUAL DILL COMMUNITY REUNION 🏡

It’s time to gather again! ❤️ Come spend an afternoon catching up with old friends, visiting with neighbors, sharing memories, and celebrating the wonderful community we call Dill!

📅 Saturday, September 26
⏰ Doors open at 3:00 PM
🍽️ Potluck Dinner at 5:00 PM

Bring your favorite dish to share and come hungry! There’s nothing quite like a community potluck table filled with everybody’s specialties. 😋

🎁 DOOR PRIZES WILL BE GIVEN AWAY! Feel free to bring door prizes to add to the fun!

Hey Dill Community- it’s time to show up and show out!! Support those who show up in our time of need as members of the Brockdell Volunteer Fire Department! That baked potato looks so good I can almost smell the picture!

Back by popular demand. Y’all have asked when we are going to do a BBQ dinner again… the answer is August the 22.

Tomorrow, tomorrow- I love ya, and tomorrow….. you’re only a biscuit away!!!! 🎶
Well, you know what I’m trying to say! Tomorrow is the day for breakfast at the Dill Community Center! Starts at 7am till 10am. Then, we will have a Community Meeting following. Just $10 and it’s a wonderful fundraiser for our little Dill Community!

🥓🍳 ATTENTION, BREAKFAST LOVERS… AND PEOPLE WHO JUST LOVE TO EAT! 🍳🥓

The Dill Community Center kitchen will be fired up on Saturday, July 11, starting at 7:00 AM, and we’re fixing enough breakfast to make your stretchy pants earn their keep!

For just $10, you’ll get:
🥓 Crispy bacon
🌭 Sausage
🥐 Fresh biscuits
🥣 White gravy
🍫 Chocolate gravy (because we’re civilized around here!)
🍳 Eggs
🤠 And all the fixin’s!

Come hungry… leave happy… and if you accidentally unbutton your jeans afterward, we promise not to judge. 😄

Then, once everyone has recovered from their biscuit-induced happiness, stick around for the Community Meeting at 10:00 AM. It’s a great chance to catch up on what’s happening in the community while you’re still running on bacon power.

Bring your family, your friends, your neighbors, and that one person who always says, “I wasn’t hungry,” then eats half your plate.

We’ll see you at the Dill Community Center on Saturday, July 11. Breakfast this good is worth setting the alarm for! 🍽️

Wanted to share a few more photos from the 1950’s when Dill School was brand new! There’s a long history of this building being the center of the community and it’s fun to see a glimpse back in time - so we can keep working towards keeping this landmark a focal point of Brockdell Mountain!
