Brighton North Primary, Shipman Elementary, and Medora Intermediate would like to say “Thank You” to the Southwestern Foundation For Educational Excellence for sponsoring a great assembly at all three schools in January. Basketball Jones presented a message to the elementary students about doing their best. Students were amazed by the skills. He kept the students engaged and participating throughout the assembly.

The Southwestern Foundation for Educational Excellence is able to sponsor assemblies, support mini grants, and scholarships due to the community’s support in attending the Foundations annual event. This year’s event will be on March 8, 2025, at Grafton Winery the Vineyards. Doors open at 5:30. Tickets can be purchased in advance from any of the Foundation Members and at Brighton North Primary.

Tickets for the SW Foundation are available for purchase! Come join us on March 8th, 2025 for a great time and a chance to help further Southwestern students education!

Tickets are available from any SW Foundation Member.

Tickets can be purchased at Brighton North Primary Office with Kim Reed.

Foundation Members will be at the December 18th Highschool Basketball Game to sell tickets.

This weeks spotlight scholarship recipient is Madison Seymour!!! She was the recipient of the Alfred and Marie Watson Memorial Scholarship. Congrats!!!

We’d like to thank all of the donors, those that attended the dinner, and those that bid and purchased during the live auction Saturday night!!! You’ve all made a huge impact on a future students ability to help afford a secondary education! We hope to see you all again next year!!!!
