Grateful for the awareness to feel the difference.

I’m learning to return to something simple when life feels noisy:

What do I participate in?
What do I support?
What do I align with?

Not from pressure. Not from fear.
From a place of truth.

Because where I place my energy matters. I want it to reflect what is life-giving, honest, and whole.

Staying aligned… one choice at a time.

Lately I’ve been learning what discernment really feels like—
not judgment, just clarity.

To serve God is to align with what brings truth, life, and wholeness.
To serve something else is to give energy to what fragments, hides, or diminishes.

I’m not here to label people…
just to stay aligned in my own choices.

And sometimes that simply looks like:
“This is not life-giving—and I won’t take part in it.”

Grateful that my vulnerability—turning in my writing assignment early and sharing honestly—gave another writer the courage to speak her truth about addiction. Her story was powerful, and I felt deep gratitude just to play a small part in her finding her voice.

A Prayer from:
🌹✨Rosy Minds ✨🙌

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the gift of a new morning and the quiet mercies You place gently into our lives before we even ask. As this day begins, I ask that You settle a calm glow over every mind reading this, softening anxious thoughts and replacing them with Your steady peace.

Plant courage deep within their hearts — not loud or hurried courage, but the quiet, unshakable kind that trusts You in every step. Guide their decisions, guard their emotions, and cover their homes with Your presence.

Lord, let unexpected blessings meet them along their path this week — small reminders of Your nearness, timely provision, kind words, open doors, and strength exactly when it is needed most. Where there has been weariness, breathe renewal. Where there has been worry, speak reassurance. Where there has been waiting, sow hope.

May they walk today knowing they are seen, held, and lovingly led by You.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen

🌹Rosy Minds Prayer:

🙏Heavenly Father,
As this new day unfolds, we pause to breathe in the gift of life You have placed before us. Let Your joy rise with the morning light and settle gently into every corner of our hearts. Where there is heaviness, bring holy comfort. Where there is uncertainty, plant steady trust. Where there is weariness, pour fresh strength like dew upon dry ground.

Walk beside us in ordinary moments and quiet tasks, turning simple hours into sacred ground. Guard our minds with Your peace, guide our words with kindness, and let our actions reflect the love You have so freely given us. May every doorstep we cross carry Your presence, and may every soul we meet feel a trace of Your grace.

Bless this day with purpose, cover our homes with protection, and remind us that no step is unseen and no prayer unheard.

In Your faithful and gentle name, Amen. 🌿

✨Gratitude doesn’t erase hard days—
but it reminds me I’m not walking them alone.

Today I’m thankful for provision, kindness, rest returning, and angels in human form.
One step. One breath. One day at a time.

🙏✨

🌼Gratitude List

• I’m grateful for feeling better and being able to work, even though I didn’t get home until 9:30.

• I’m grateful I woke up in time thanks to Carol and my new alarm clock—even on only four hours of sleep.

• I’m grateful I listened to my body and chose rest, even though I could have been doing laundry or housework.

Grateful for being reminded how powerful simple listening can be.

I had a quiet, late-night conversation with someone working an overnight shift. In a few shared moments, she opened up about her mother, and I could feel how heavy and urgent it was. Something in me nudged, you can help here.

I made a call. Then another yes showed up. Late in the evening, what was needed was delivered.

When I got the call saying it had reached her, happy tears filled my eyes. And when she received it, there were tears of relief on the other end too.

Sometimes love moves quietly, after hours, through ordinary people who simply listen and say yes.

That’s alignment. Rest + service. ☦️ 🎯🌙☦️✨🕊️

🎯 For so long, I tuned myself out and lived through people pleasing, mistaking external approval for safety. Today, I’m grateful to recognize that I no longer need validation from others to feel whole. There is a deep freedom in listening to my own inner voice and trusting it. When I’m aligned with God and focused on pleasing Him, everything else falls into place. What’s really beautiful is realizing that my role is simply to love as God loves—to offer the same grace, patience, and compassion that met me in my brokenness. Having been healed, I now get to hold space for others as they discover that same freedom. That feels holy, humbling, and incredibly cool all at once.🕊️

Reflection for the Day

One of the most constructive things I can do is to learn to listen to myself and get in touch with my true feelings. For years, I tuned myself out, going along, instead, with what others felt and said. Even today, it sometimes seems that they have it all together, while I’m still stumbling about. Thankfully, I’m beginning to understand that people pleasing takes many forms. Slowly but steadily, I’ve also begun to realize that it’s possible for me to change my old patterns. Will I encourage myself to tune in to the real me? Will I listen carefully to my own inner voice with the expectation that I’ll hear some wonderful things?

Today I Pray

I pray that I may respect myself enough to listen to my real feelings, those emotions that for so long I refused to hear or name or own, which festered in me like a poison. May I know that I need to stop often, look at my feelings, listen to the inner me.

Today I Will Remember

I will own my feelings.

💁‍♀️Gratitude List

• I am grateful to God.
• I am grateful for a good night’s sleep.
• I am grateful that I feel I am on the mend.
• I am grateful that I chose acceptance in my current school situation and surrendered to turning in my assignment as-is, recognizing my physical limits after my phone overheated and my hands were burning from overload.🙃🕊️

🌹Rosy Minds leads us in Prayer:

Father God,
Thank You for the gift of a new day wrapped in Your mercy. As we sip our coffee and step into today, steady our hearts with Your peace and fill our minds with gratitude. Give us courage for what we face, strength for what we carry, and faith to trust that You are already working behind the scenes in ways we cannot yet see. Cover every home here with Your protection, provide for every need, and remind each person reading this that they are deeply loved, never alone, and held securely in Your hands. Let today overflow with quiet blessings, unexpected joy, and a fresh awareness of Your presence.

Gratitude List
• Grateful for God, who carried me through a very tender moment.
• Grateful for the care package from my bestie Carol — such love and comfort right when I needed it.
• Grateful I received an A on my assignment about Ashley, even though I had to re-record it just one hour after she passed because the original audio submitted blank.

🌹Rosy Minds Prayer

Lord,
Thank You for being our shelter when the storms roll in—outside and within.
Wrap every heart reading this in Your peace today.
Keep families safe, homes warm, and minds calm.
Remind us that while the wind may howl and the snow may fall,
You remain steady, close, and faithful.
Help us slow down, rest in You, and trust that You are holding it all together.
We place this day, this storm, and every worry in Your loving hands.
Amen.

Gratitude

I am grateful Ashley passed away in my arms.
It still hurts that she suffered for two days, and I carry that ache — but I was there with her to the very end, and that mattered. 🤍

I’m grateful for Caron, who went with me as my support. It was incredibly painful, and her presence helped me get through it. I’m also grateful that she helped with the cost, even though I paid her right back.

I’m deeply grateful for my support team — Carol & Bill, Anita, Alicia, Caron, Michele, and Debbie.
Your love, presence, and steady support mean more to me than I can put into words. I am truly blessed beyond measure. 🙏

I’m grateful that I pushed through and re-recorded my favorite animal assignment from last week — just one hour after Ashley passed. That took more strength than I realized in the moment.

I’m also grateful that, despite everything, I am almost finished with this week’s assignment.🌿

🌹Rosy Minds Prayer

Lord, thank You for the gift of this new morning. As we step into today, help us notice the simple moments that matter—the smiles we pass, the hands that help us, and the hearts that reflect Your love. Cover each person reading this with Your peace, guide their steps, and soften their hearts to both give and receive kindness. May our words be gentle, our actions be loving, and our faith be steady no matter what the day holds. We place this Friday in Your hands and trust You with every detail. Amen
