Many people in your congregation are struggling silently.

Not because they don't want help—but because they don't know where to find it.

One of the simplest things a church can do is make recovery support visible. Talk about it from the platform. Include it in announcements. Let people know they're not alone and that hope is available.

When churches create safe places for honesty, healing can begin.

Too many people struggling with addiction have been told to “go get help somewhere else.”

But what if recovery was never meant to happen outside the Church?

Healing happens through community, honesty, discipleship, and walking alongside people who are fighting for freedom. That sounds a lot like the early Church to us.

The Church has always been called to help people find freedom — not just from addiction, but from shame, isolation, and hopelessness too.

But the leaders may already be sitting in your pews. 🙌

Recovery ministry has always been powered by people who have walked through healing themselves — people with wisdom, empathy, and lived experience that can’t be taught in a classroom.

The Church is more equipped than it realizes. ✝️
