Raising Arizona's Men is all about fathering and shepherding boys into becoming men who will positively impact their spheres of influence.

Raising Arizona’s Men guides young men away from being dependents of our foster care system to becoming strong leaders in our community. Our approach is two pronged; gain trust through life skills training and mentor-ship, and provide stability through the provision of a permanent, loving, accepting family and committed, safe homes. Our backpacking trips are designed to strip away the distractions

, the excuses, and/or inequalities faced by young men today. By facilitating difficult physical, mental, and spiritual challenges in Arizona wilderness areas, we seek to challenge young men to look inwardly, and face the truth of their character. With the counsel of a new mentor, our three-day curriculum will teach young men the definition of manhood. We will question the boys’ definition of boyhood, manhood, and fatherhood, and call them to rise above the negative examples that many of them have experienced.

We have been serving the boys living in foster care group homes for 11 years. Tonight 15 came to Bible study. They listened, asked insightful questions and answered questions with a degree of depth you would expect from someone that had been a Christian for years. This generation is our future. These young men are on their way to becoming Godly leaders and great men. I’m so thankful I have an opportunity to watch them grow.

Today is family Sunday. Once a month every one worships together. No youth group, no children’s classes just entire family’s sitting together in church. As I sang along, I was struck by the importance of this moment captured in this photo. I met this young man a few years ago at one of our Skills day programs. Last year he made the decision to follow Christ. Today he is singing on stage. God has made him a new creation and gave him a new family. His prayers have not been answered they way he had hoped they would be…perhaps one day they will be … today however he is surrounded by the family of God. Thank you Jesus, because of your love he is not alone in this world any longer.

Ram Camp was everything we prayed for and more.

From wild team challenges and messy games to powerful conversations and real heart change, God is moving in a big way.

🙏🏼Two boys gave their life to Jesus today.
🙏🏼Another said he wants to reclaim his faith and be baptized again.

This is what Worthy is all about, knowing that no matter where you come from, how heavy the past feels, or what you’ve been told... you are worthy of love, worthy of grace, and worthy of a fresh start.

Keep lifting these boys up in prayer as the night is not over!
