As one who was deployed three times. I can say that it is wonderful and very patriotic to see people wearing red today. Of course remembering those deployed and those who have been should not be limited to only friday. This should be every day every minute.

Seeing the Face of Allah in Paradise just like seeing the full moon — this is the highest pleasure in Paradise
The Highest Pleasure in Paradise is Seeing the Noble Face of Allah

-In the study of Tawheed, one of Allah’s attributes is that He has a Face, which we often read in evidences: “seeking the Face of Allah”
-This is a real Face, not to be distorted in meaning, but its reality and form are unknown to us. Our duty is only to believe that Allah has a Face.
Allah says,
“For those who do good is the best reward and more [seeing the Face of Allah]. No darkness will cover their faces, nor humiliation. Those are the companions of Paradise; they will abide therein eternally.” (QS. Yunus: 26)
The meaning of “ziyadah” (زِيَادَةٌ) is an additional blessing for the people of Paradise: seeing the Face of Allah. Ibn Kathir explained:
وأفضل من ذلك وأعلاه النظر إلى وجهه الكريم
“The best and highest addition is looking at the Noble Face of Allah” (Tafsir Ibn Kathir)
Some other evidences:
1. A believer will be radiant seeing the face of his Lord on the Day of Resurrection, as mentioned in the Qur’an[1][Paradise][2]
2. The highest pleasure in Paradise is seeing the Noble Face of Allah, as mentioned in hadith[3]
3. We are taught to pray to be able to see the Face of Allah[4]
4. The disbelievers on the Day of Resurrection will be veiled from seeing their Lord, as mentioned in the Qur’an[5]
-Allah cannot be seen in this world, only in the Hereafter after humans experience death. This is the meaning of the verse that Allah cannot be grasped by vision — meaning the vision in this world. As for the Hereafter, we can see the Noble Face of Allah.
