What a beautiful and impactful Saturday afternoon of love, healing, hope, and inspiration at the The HP Foundation Annual Mourning Charity Brunch! 🦋

First, congratulations to my girl Kamisha (Kamisha Allen| Faith Ambassador & Non-profit Founder) on another successful and meaningful HP Foundation event! Your grief journey is inspiring and has been an example of the power of faith in action.

It was truly an honor to meet and personally hear from inspiring guest speaker, Mason Sawyer, founder of the 10Ninety Rule. On July 25, 2021, Mason experienced an unimaginable tragedy when a fatal car accident took the lives of five of his family members: his beautiful wife, Kortni; his children, Riggins and Franki; his older brother, Race; and his nephew, Rider. His young son, Blue, survived the accident.

Today, Mason continues to honor the legacy of his loved ones while raising Blue and using his platform, the 10Ninety Podcast, to encourage open and vulnerable conversations about grief, mental health, healing, and human connection.

As a surviving wife who is navigating my own grief journey while raising my son, Mason’s story touched me deeply. His courage to share his pain, honor his family, and continue finding purpose through unimaginable loss is a powerful reminder that grief and purpose can coexist.

Congratulations again, Kamisha and the entire HP Foundation, for bringing the bereaved community together for such a meaningful cause!

The HP Foundation is honored to welcome
**Mason Sawyer of 10ninety Rule** as the featured guest speaker for its Annual Mourning Charity Brunch on Saturday, September 19, 2026, in Phoenix, Arizona.

This year’s event centers around a question that is rarely discussed:

“What Happens After the Funeral?”

When everyone goes home and the funeral is over, a grieving parent is still left to wake up the next morning and face a life that has forever changed. The grief remains. The financial challenges remain. And the need for support continues.

Mason Sawyer joins The HP Foundation because this conversation matters. His voice and perspective will help bring greater awareness to the realities families face beyond the funeral — and why supporting bereaved parents must extend beyond the day of loss.

The Mourning Charity Brunch will provide a space for real conversations, remembrance, connection, resources, and hope, while shining a light on the work The HP Foundation is doing to help families through one of life's most devastating experiences.
