Today, we commemorate the genocide against the Tutsi, which began in Rwanda on April 7, 1994.
Since this tragic time in history, Rwanda has continuously worked to rebuild its nation. At African Oasis Foundation , we feel blessed to be a piece of this work, educating our students on how to sustain and carry this progress forward. 🇷🇼🕯️

This Christmas, we celebrated the greatest gift of all Jesus, our hope and peace. Thanks to our amazing partners and donors, this season looked different and deeply meaningful. Children received school bags, shoes, and hygiene packs, families shared a meal together, and teen mothers and local leaders were welcomed with love.

What made it especially beautiful was seeing parents give gifts to their own children and speak words of encouragement and love over them. Together, we are witnessing the Prince of Peace strengthen families and transform lives.

Community Work/UMUGANDA Day at Oasis Christian Academy Property
Today, parents of sponsored children, sponsored kids , teen mothers, and our neighboring community came together to plant 130 trees at Oasis Christian Academy. We thank God for this unity and for the privilege of caring for His creation. May these trees grow as a reminder of hope, stewardship, and the future we are building together in Kamabuye.

For us, it’s more than just kicking a ball. It’s how we meet students where they are . laughing, learning their stories, and walking with them in love and faith.
