🎉🌵 Important information to know before your 602 Day visit TOMORROW at Arizona Science Center 🌵🎉

We can't wait to celebrate Phoenix with you and welcome thousands of Guests for a day of science, discovery, and community. Before you join us for, here are a few helpful tips to make your visit as smooth as possible:

☀️ Arrive Early
Lines may begin forming before opening, and arriving early can help you avoid peak crowds, parking delays, and longer entry wait times later in the day.

👥 Large Crowds Are Anticipated
602 Day is one of our most popular annual events! Please plan for high attendance throughout the day, including outdoor lines and extended waits for entry and popular experiences. Wear comfortable shoes, bring your patience, and be prepared for warm weather while waiting outside.

💧 Stay Hydrated & Bring Water
June temperatures in Downtown Phoenix can rise quickly. We encourage Guests to bring refillable water bottles to stay hydrated throughout the day. Water refill stations will be available inside Arizona Science Center and throughout Heritage & Science Park.

💳 Cashless Venue
To help speed up transactions and improve the Guest experience, Arizona Science Center is a cashless venue. Please plan to use debit/credit cards or mobile payment methods for admissions, concessions, and onsite purchases.

🚆 Public Transportation Encouraged
Downtown Phoenix parking may fill quickly during 602 Day festivities. Guests are encouraged to use Valley Metro Light Rail, rideshare services, or other public transportation options when possible. Arizona Science Center is conveniently located near Downtown Phoenix light rail stops.

This Saturday, June 6, make plans to be on the water! Arizona Game and Fish Department will not require fishing licenses that day at any state waters or community lakes as part of National Free Fishing Day. You can even bring a newbie angler or kiddo to fishing clinics offered at Dead Horse Ranch State Park and Dankworth Pond by the Roper Lake State Park rangers. Park entry fees still apply but there’s no cost to these clinics or the need to pay for a fishing license on June 6. Learn more at azstateparks.com/events.
