Fuerte stands ten toes down with Lupe Conchas in his fight to represent his community.

“Councilmember Conchas’ being removed from this seat is an affront to democracy. The haste of the Glendale City Council to remove Conchas is how we lose our civic voice, one obscure procedure at a time.

American democracy is on the line. If our leaders will not stand at all moments for every voter to be heard, every vote to count, and every result to be respected, then it is up to us, the people, to stand together.

Please bring comfortable walking shoes, water, and weather-ready clothing.

Shift Options: • 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM • 11:30 AM – 2:00 PM • 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Feel free to sign up for one shift or stay for multiple depending on your capacity.

🐝Join us for our First Friday art event, presented in collaboration with Hive on the 16th. We’ll have live performers throughout the evening and artwork on display across the cultural center. Fuerte Arts Movement joined hundreds of Arizona community members on May Day. 💜We stand with workers, immigrants and communities fighting for dignity, justice, and people power.

While billionaires continue to profit off our labor and politicians protect corporate interests, our communities are left carrying the burden. May Day is a reminder that real change comes from organized people, not wealthy elites.

Our Demands - Tax the rich so our families, not their fortunes, come first. - No ICE. No war. No private army serving unchecked federal power. - Expand democracy, not corporate power. Hands off our vote. ✊🏽

On May 1st, we’re saying working people are done carrying the costs alone. ✊Everyone deserves to live in a country where one job is enough to pay the bills. Where housing, healthcare, and groceries are affordable. 💜

Where our tax dollars go to schools, healthcare, and public services — not to billionaire tax breaks or corporate handouts.
But instead Corporations are raising prices while reporting record profits.

Billionaires are avoiding taxes while the rest of us absorb the cost. The government is cutting public programs and attacking communities instead of lowering the cost of living. ❗

People are being forced to choose between:
Rent or groceries
Medicine or utilities
Saving or going into debt

It feels rigged — because it is. 🗣️

Billionaires and corporations have reshaped the rules so the economy works for them, not for us.
