Sometimes it's hard to express the "For Bill" part of Bottles For Bill. On this day thirteen years ago, we lost Bill forever. Our family changed, our lives changed, and grief would be carried years later.

Through the hustle and bustle of fundraising, moving water, setting goals, and connecting with our community it's important to remember who Bill was and why we do this in the first place. We do it to protect others. To prevent other families from grieving the way ours does. To make a difference.

We miss you Bill. ❤️

We're SOOOO close! Your donation could help us reach our $1000 goal.

We're raising funds for heat relief. Water helps keep everyone hydrated and safe during triple digit heat here in Arizona. $1000 purchases about 10,000 bottles of water. Will help us reach our goal and help keep others safe?

We're not quite there! Thank you to everyone that has donated so far. This water drive is our main fundraiser and will help us to keep people safe during the temps of 110+ this week.

If you'd like to get involved, we're hoping to reach our goal of $1000 for heat relief by August 9th.

Let's go!!! Our annual Water Drive has officially begun and we need your help to hit our goal! We're looking to raise $1000 in the next 10 days to help keep people hydrated amd safe during extreme heat.

After losing Bill to heat stroke we knew there was a way to help prevent this from happening to others. $5 buys an entire CASE and puts 40 bottles of water into our community. This week has seen highs of 117 and lows of 90.

Please get involved and help make a difference. One bottle can truly save a life. Donate at link in bio.

A local hiker felt safe since he was "acclimated" to the heat. Unfortunately he was found deceased on a local trail on a 117 degree day, only one month after posting to social media about not being fearful of the heat.

This story shares many similarities to I lost my bother Bill, and I'm hoping their stories help to keep others safe.

*please be advised that heat being a contributing factor is suspected but not yet confirmed.

This story hits home. This family lost their loved one in a very similar way as to how we lost Bill. I'll conute to work to help keep being aware of the heat dangers and to distribute water throughout Arizona.

A hiker passed away this week during extreme temperatures. Stan's story is very similar to the circumstances I lost Bill. I hope these stories being told can continue to raise awareness of the true danger of extreme heat.

It is important to know the signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke, both dangerous conditions.

What to Do:
🌡️ Move to a Cool Place: Get out of the heat and into a cooler environment as quickly as possible.
💧 Drink Water: Hydrate with water or a sports drink. Avoid alcohol and caffeine.
☂️ Cool Down: Apply cool, wet cloths to your body or take a cool bath. Use fans if available.
🚨 Emergency Action for Heat Stroke: If someone shows signs of heat stroke, call 911 immediately. While waiting for help, try to cool the person down with any available means (ice packs, cool cloths, etc.).

Stay vigilant and take these steps to protect yourself and others. Recognizing the signs early and responding quickly can save lives!
