In 2004, J-Rocks, competed at the music competition, Nescafe Get Started, in Jakarta that were sponsored by a record label, Aquarius Musikindo. They managed to win the competition and the opportunity to contribute in a compilation album, Nescafe Get Started, which was the beginning of their cooperation with Aquarius Musikindo. Finally, they succeeded in launching their debut album "Topeng Sahabat", with record label Aquarius Musikindo in 2005 and also filled two songs on the soundtrack album of the motion picture "Dealova". Those songs were "Serba Salah" and "Into The Silent".

AM2 Announces 2 Additional Musical Guests

Just hours after Anime Expo announces their first musical Guest of Honor, Kalafina, AM2 Con announces 2 new additions to their own Musical Guest roster.

SCANDAL, a Japanese pop rock band consisting of Haruna Ono (vocals, guitar), Tomomi Ogawa (bass, vocals), Mami Sasazaki (guitar, vocals) and Rina Suzuki (drums, percussions, keyboards, vocals), is sure to bring in major fans of Japanese pop. SCANDAL is more well known for their theme songs for animes such as Bleach, Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and Star Driver: Kagayaki no Takuto.

The second Musical Guest is none other than Sadie, a Japanese visual kei band, formed in 2005. The band consists of Mao (vocals), Mizuki (guitar), Tsurugi (guitar) Aki (bass guitar), and Kei (drums). Sadie is more well known within the visual kei community.

SCANDAL and Sadie join previously announced Musical Guests heidi. and kanon x kanon.

Foo Fighters is an American rock band, formed in Seattle, Washington in 1994. It was founded by Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl as a one-man project following the dissolution of Nirvana after the death of Kurt Cobain. The group got its name from the UFOs and various aerial phenomena that were reported by Allied aircraft pilots in World War II, which were known collectively as "foo fighters". Over the course of the band's career, four of its albums have won Grammy Awards for Best Rock Album. As of 2015, the band have sold 12 million copies in the United States alone.
