John 15:16
"You did not choose me, but I chose you."

This scripture should give us a tremendous amount of hope on the days we feel like we don't choose Jesus. The scripture reminds us that he has chosen us, and there is no power in heaven or Earth that can undo this union.

There are times when depression and anxiety come in with distorted thoughts and feelings. Many days we will wake up and question his love. Let's take heart that he chose us first. Regardless of what we think or feel, his grip holds to us tightly as we make our way through these powerful feelings and difficult days.

Lord, we thank you for holding us so tightly since the very moment you called us yours. Remind us today that our grip will always be weak, but it is your grip that maintains our bond. Thank you, Jesus. It is in your name we pray these things, amen.

Feeling unmotivated or weighed down by the tasks ahead? You're not alone. Sometimes, mental health struggles can make it hard to move forward, leaving us feeling stuck or overwhelmed by the things God has placed on our hearts. But here's the truth: those tasks, those dreams, those steps forward: they're not just yours, they're God's call on your life.

When we reframe our to-do list as a divine assignment, everything changes. Instead of relying on our own strength (which can feel so limited), we can commit every step to the Lord. Hand over the doubts, the fatigue, the anxiety: He sees it all. By trusting Him with our plans, we tap into His power to guide, sustain, and establish us.

Today, let's pause and pray: 'Lord, I commit these tasks to You. Help me see them as your calling, not just my burden. Give me the strength and focus to move forward in Your will.' He's with you, and He's ready to make a way. Let's step into His purpose together!

Feeling weighed down by guilt? Take heart! When we surrender our lives to Jesus, God doesn’t see our sins—He sees Christ’s perfect righteousness covering us. 2 Corinthians 5:21 reminds us: “For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” This truth brings profound peace, knowing Jesus paid it all for our forgiveness. This isn’t a pass to live recklessly, but an invitation to walk boldly in the freedom of Christ, fully forgiven and loved. Rest in His grace today!

When we truly believe and embrace this biblical truth, it transforms our hearts and minds, setting us free from the chains of guilt. By trusting that Christ’s sacrifice has fully atoned for our sins, we can release the burden of shame and self-condemnation, knowing God’s love and forgiveness are complete. This freedom empowers us to live with confidence and joy, pursuing a life that honors Him, not out of fear, but out of gratitude for His unending grace.

Job 8:21 (ESV)
“He will yet fill your mouth with laughter,
and your lips with shouting.”

Right now, tears may feel louder than hope.
Sadness can drown out every promise. But hold on to this truth:

We serve a God who keeps His word.
The same voice that spoke galaxies into being says,

“Your story isn’t finished.
Laughter is coming.” Let that promise rise stronger than the pain.

He will yet fill your mouth with joy. Who needs this reminder today? Tag them.

Forgiveness is a powerful gift we can give—not just to others, but to ourselves. When we choose to forgive, we release the heavy burden of bitterness and open our hearts to the peace and love of Christ. Letting go of grudges allows us to walk in the fullness of His grace, free from the chains that hold us back. Today, choose kindness, choose compassion, and choose forgiveness. Let God’s love heal your heart and shine through you.

Forgiving others isn’t always easy, especially when the hurt runs deep, but it’s a step toward true freedom. By forgiving, we reflect the mercy God has shown us, breaking the cycle of pain and resentment. It’s an act of faith that invites healing and restoration, not only in our hearts but also in our relationships. Let’s trust God’s example and embrace forgiveness as a path to living fully in His love and purpose.

Life can hit hard. Some days we’re carrying more than we know how to say out loud. But God’s goodness isn’t fragile, distant, or reserved for the easy seasons. His mercy stretches over every part of our lives—even the parts we’re still trying to figure out.

But here’s the part we sometimes forget:
God invites us to taste and see His goodness. That means we have to slow down long enough to actually receive it. We choose to taste when we pray instead of spiraling. We taste when we open His Word instead of letting our thoughts run wild. We taste when we pause, breathe, and let His truth speak louder than our fears.

God’s goodness is already surrounding you.
But tasting it—experiencing it—comes from being intentional.

If today feels heavy, take one deliberate step toward Him. Open your Bible. Whisper a prayer. Let His mercy meet you right where you are.
