The PMAY Artists' Initiative is a music pathways program that supports and prepares 5-12 graders particularly from communities historically excluded in classical music and those who encounter hardship to be professional musicians.

Meet Dillon! 🎻

Dillon is a PMAY Alum and is now attending the Curtis Institute of Music pursuing a music degree in viola performance. He graduated the program in 2022. He will perform on the Alumni recital on Saturday, May 16th, 2026 at 7:00pm at the Mary Louis Curtis Branch of Settlement Music School. He will play his own composition titled 'The Wonders of Life'. We can't wait to hear him perform.

Day 2 and 3 at the Equity Arc Convening! 🎶

Enjoy these highlights from a very busy weekend where our artists had the opportunity to visit the Supreme Court of the United States and ask questions to Justice Sotomayor, perform in the Equity Arc Pathways Orchestra, and enjoy some post-performance ice cream. What a great experience! So many memories were made. 🌷 💖

Meet Chloe! 🌸

Chloe is a PMAY Alumna and is now pursuing a music degree at the Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester. We are delighted to welcome her back on May 16th, 2026 at 7pm for our Alumni recital where she will perform the Grieg's violin sonata. Hope you can join us!

Our jury recitals are a time where students have the opportunity to perform and showcase the hard work they have put into their musical studies during the semester. Congrats to all! ☺

Day 1 in Washington D.C. for the Equity Arc convening was a success! We got there a little earlier and had time to walk around, sightsee and eat some yummy food. We were so lucky to have the perfect weather. More photos to come in the following days. A huge thank you to our parents chaperone. ☺🎶🌎🌷

Congratulations to PMAY Artist Sydney Vance for her performance with the West Chester University Percussion Ensemble where she performed the fourth movement of the Ney Rosauro's marimba concerto. It was a delightful evening and a great way to play the concerto alongside her collegues in the ensemble and under the guidance of Dr. Ralph Sorrentino. 🎶☺💐 West Chester University of PA
