We wrapped up our annual Build a Bag school supply drive by assembling bags and delivering them to our NPSD schools!

Thank you to everyone in the community who participated, including our community partners who kept donation bins in their buildings including: JL Freed Honda , St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church - North Wales, PA , Bacco Restaurant , , , BZ Orthodontics , Carlee Myers Personal Training, LLC, Trinity Lutheran Church, Lansdale, PA , Rep. Liz Hanbidge, Rep. Steve Malagari, Upper Gwynedd Township Fire Department , Montgomery Township Police Department .

An additional thank you to all of the organizations and businesses that held their own collection drives and donated much-needed school supplies for North Penn students! We were able to stuff hundreds of backpacks that will be distributed directly to NPSD students, ensuring that all students are set up for success.

25 years ago the first iPod was sold, a gallon of milk cost $2.88, Harry Potter was the most popular movie, and the NPSD Educational Foundation held their very first golf outing! You can join us for the 25th anniversary "Golftoberfest" outing on October 6, 2026 at Talamore Country Club. We are currently seeking golfers and sponsors to join us for a fun day on the course while supporting North Penn students. Golfers will enjoy a beautiful autumn day of golfing while helping to provide innovative classroom experiences that enhance the amazing education at North Penn. Sponsors can choose from a variety of sponsorship levels so you can find the right fit for you and your organization. 💜 Volunteers meet to fill the backpacks and deliver them to schools in North Penn School District.

Here are several ways to support this effort:

📙 Purchase backpacks and school supplies at the store and drop them off at a community partner location.

🎉 Congratulations are in order! North Penn Educational Foundation’s 2024-25 Annual Report was recognized earlier this year with Awards of Excellence from both the National School Public Relations Association and the Pennsylvania School Public Relations Association, or PenSPRA!

Thank you to The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Montgomery County for your support! At Cooking for a Cause July 9, 2026, the Chamber presented donations to five nonprofits, including North Penn Educational Foundation.

Marion Hoffman Fraley (at left), NPEF President, and Heide Pickens, NPEF Grant Committee Chair, accepted the award on behalf of the Foundation.

The event included delicious food, friendly competition, and community impact as home chefs showcased their culinary talents in support of the nonprofits.

NPEF funds teacher-initiated grants and other projects in all 18 schools in North Penn School District.
