Lease has been signed! Let's have a little fun before we spill the details about the new home for our former Exton Wardrobe...we'll be sending out several clues over the next couple of weeks - swipe to see the first one! We appreciate everyone's patience while we searched for a new home - we toured many sites but think we've landed on a good one. 💜

Until we're ready to announce our official opening date, we'd love for you to continue to support our mission by shopping + donating at our nearby locations in Kennett Square and Plymouth Meeting Mall.

Our amazing volunteer Kristen and her friend Martha put together these looks using finds from The Wardrobe’s temporary pop-up location at Plymouth Meeting Mall… and we think she nailed it! 💜

Whether you’re shopping for work, weekends, or something in between, we have options for everyone!

📍 Stop by our temporary Plymouth Meeting Mall location, NOW OPEN every Monday–Saturday, 11 AM–6 PM.
🚗 Find us at the entrance closest to P.F. Chang’s & Dave & Buster’s, and then head upstairs to the 2nd floor!

Shop, donate, and volunteer while helping us empower people on their journey to independence. Free clothing services will also be available to individuals seeking professional, casual, or everyday clothing to help them achieve their goals.

Thank you so much to WOMEN'S WAY for selecting us as an IRAF grantee in our time of need! Their incredible support allowed us to continue providing services to Chester County despite losing an essential site.

Thank you for looking out for local non-profits and providing fast support when they are faced with sudden + urgent challenges!

Welcome our newest IRAF Grantee, The Wardrobe!

The Wardrobe's mission is to eliminate clothing insecurity and fashion waste by accepting, sorting, and redistributing clothing donations back into the community to meet one of people's basic human needs - clothing.

When faced with a sudden, unexpected mall closure, The Wardrobe was given a short timeline to relocate the store's Exton location that provides Chester County residents with access to clothing, workforce development support, and basic necessities.

Thanks to our IRAF grant, The Wardrobe was able to cover the costs of everything needed for this quick transition, from moving labor to signage and site preparation costs at their new location, allowing Chester County residents to continue accessing these essential services without interruption!

Rapid response funding has continued to show up as a crucial lifeline for organizations facing the unexpected.

Every other month, The Wardrobe hosts a Sip & Shop—a fun evening of shopping, light refreshments, and learning more about our mission or ways to get involved. 💜

Our next Sip & Shop is Thursday, August 20 from 4–6 PM at our Kennett Square, Philadelphia, Plymouth Meeting Mall, and Upper Darby locations. This month’s event features our Summer $1/$5/$10 Clearance, light refreshments, 25% off non-sale items, and time to mingle with fellow shoppers and staff. 🛍️✨

Did you know? Each year, we send close to 1,000 Wardrobe Boxes to individuals who are unable to visit one of our stores due to transportation, childcare, health, or scheduling barriers. 📦💜

Every Wardrobe Box is thoughtfully packed with clothing selected specifically for the recipient's needs—whether they're preparing for a job interview, starting a new job, or simply looking for everyday essentials. Each box also includes a handwritten note to remind them that someone is rooting for them.

Recently, we sent 10 Wardrobe Boxes to our community partner, Strength and Dignity Homes, for young women in foster care. We were so grateful to hear that the clothing—and the care behind each box—helped the recipients feel seen and supported. Thank you to Strength and Dignity Homes for sharing these kind words with us.
