Our Councilman Anthony Phillips along with the 35th Police District addressed the Olney Community with very informative information. He spoke about staying focused and on track in our neighborhoods as he continues to collaborate for the concerns in Olney and in the 9th District. We thank you and appreciate all that you have and continue to do in our community! 35th Police District and State Rep Darisha Parker along with the community and services, we can do this!!! Thanks to BBGO as we can continue to help make Olney a vibrant community.

Yesterday, I joined the Philadelphia Police Department to meet with neighbors on the 400 block of Chew Avenue and surrounding streets regarding upcoming activity and potential disruptions.

September 28–29: The block will be closed to through traffic. Cars may remain parked, and pedestrian access will continue.

October 5–16, Monday–Friday, 7 AM–5 PM: No parking or pedestrian access will be permitted on the 400 block of Chew Avenue between Lawrence Street and 4th Street. Vehicles left during restricted hours will be relocated without being ticketed.

Trash pick-up will continue as scheduled. Any changes will be communicated directly to affected neighbors.

We thank Nina Ahmad for her outstanding input on trafficking! Thank you so much Councilman Phillips for finally notifying the community of this very important and disturbing incident right here in our neighborhood. The first meeting was to ensure the community of our awareness and safety right here in our neighborhood, We love our community and we thank you for your continued service🙏🏽
