Tools For School

09/07/2026

This summer, Tools for School packed its 30,000th backpack of school supplies for a student in our local community. We are so grateful to give young learners the confidence to be the best versions of themselves and succeed in class without added worry. Thank you to everyone who has supported our mission for more than a decade, including all who joined us at packing events this summer and donated to Tools for School over the years. We can't wait to share more about what we're working on and to pack thousands more backpacks in the near future 🎒📚✏️

A huge thank you to the team for hosting their third annual Back to School backpack-packing event last week at their Delaware hospital with Tools for School! As a leader in children’s health research, Nemours continues to set the standard for caring for kids both inside and outside the hospital walls. We were proud to partner with Nemours for a special day of community impact, where we packed another 500 backpacks to help kids start the school year feeling confident and ready to learn. An incredible community came together to make this happen, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you for all you do!

Community involvement matters to Experity Ventures and Thrivest Link, and that starts at the top. Experity Ventures CEO Ryan Silverman and his family did more than donate to Tools for School. They showed up, packed backpacks, and helped students across New Jersey and Pennsylvania get ready for school. Every student deserves a great school year without having to worry about whether they have the supplies they need.

Wishing students, teachers, and parents a great 2026–2027 school year!

Every backpack we fill carries something bigger than school supplies. It carries a community's belief in what education and support can do for a child's future.

That's why we're so grateful for partners like Nemours Children's Health, whose mission to reimagine children's health has fueled our Tools for School Summer Packing event year after year. Because of their generosity, thousands of local students will walk into the new school year with everything they need to learn, grow, and succeed.

Now it's your turn to be part of the story. Come pack backpacks, meet your neighbors, and help set a child up for a great year ahead. Join us Sunday, August 2 at 10:00 AM at Tomatoes in Margate City, NJ. See you there!
