The TU Kids Academy was founded in the summer of 2012 by the children of an activist and a soldier. Seeing the need to get involved in the community at the same age "relation" of other youth they encountered. The Youth Directors of the Kids Academy opted to forgo the opportunity to homeschool and be reachable in the Greater community. Having many creative talents and interests, the directors formu
lating an action plan that included clubs, programs, and initiatives that were disappointingly lacking in the school system. With minimal guidance and required supervision by their mother, the Kids Academy has taken a strong foothold in the community and have even had two of their initiatives scaled up to serve a local Charter School and an After School Program for Teens! All of the Directors are currently under the age of 16 and some have not left elementary school yet. However, with teamwork, ingenuity, and a drive and passion for service, each is equally capable of managing day to day operations. Consider enrolling your child(ren) in a program this year to enrich, empower, entertain, and embolden them to pay it forward in their own community.
