The members of S.P.E.A.K are committed to providing educational
opportunities and programming for young adults, preparing them
to enter society as productive, responsible citizens. The organization provides assistance to young adults in the areas
of employment opportunities, dealing with peer pressure, obtaining
their educational goals, and other helpful advice through the S.P.E.A.K. website a
ssisting them in improving their lives as well as maintaining a
more focused and positive lifestyle. S.P.E.A.K is currently based in the greater Philadelphia region,
and has provided K-12 presentations and demonstrations for children
on the topics of substance abuse, bullying, teen pregnancy, and life skills. These activities have created positive interest among teachers, administrators,
parents, and students of all ages. Additionally, S.P.E.A.K has expanded to other
areas of community service, such as blanket and food drives that
benefit the homeless and less fortunate. This is a continuation of S.P.E.A.K.’s
mission to develop socially responsible young citizens, , in preparation for assuming
leadership roles in their communities as adults.
