Food Recovery Network: University of Pennsylvania

Food Recovery Network: University of Pennsylvania Food Recovery Network is a national organization that unites students on college campuses to fight waste and feed hungry Americans.

We are an official student group at the University of Pennsylvania that acts on behalf of and has support from the Food Recovery Network (FRN), a national organization. FRN is the liaison between local restaurants with leftover, perishable food and homeless shelters that can benefit from extra donated food. This initiative aims to both repurpose resources and to link members of the community in order to accomplish our goal of fighting local hunger one day at a time.
