👀 PADS & PENCILS IS BACK!
We’re getting ready for the 2nd Annual Pads & Pencils, and registration officially opens Monday, September 28th! 💕✏️

Last year, the response was incredible. We welcomed more than 80 young ladies and their mothers/mother figures, distributed 500+ menstrual hygiene products, and reached registration capacity in less than 48 hours!

This year, we’re coming back with even more opportunities for young ladies ages 8–18 and their mothers/mother figures to learn, connect, have fun, and have real conversations about menstrual and reproductive health, confidence, wellness, and growing up.💕💕

And yes… there will be plenty of activities, giveaways, and resources!

If you want to be in the room this year, don’t wait.

🎓We’re getting ready to celebrate 11 dedicated graduates of our Restoring Family Values Parenting Class — Cohort 2!🎉

On September 23rd, our graduates will enjoy a private candle-making experience with Sistah Scents Sistah Scents, LLC as we recognize their commitment and accomplishment!

This cohort reflects what parenting really looks like. We had first-time moms, experienced parents, and grandparents raising grandchildren, caring for children ranging from newborns and toddlers to adolescents, teenagers, and young adults. Different stages. Different experiences. Different challenges. But all committed to continuing to grow as caregivers. 💚💙

Throughout the 10 weeks, participants explored practical tools around communication, discipline, stress management, child development, healthy relationships, co-parenting, and more.

A special thank you to Oshun Family Center OFC | Maternal Mental Health and Steady Strides Behavior Solutions SteadyStridesBehaviorSolutions for sharing their time, expertise, and resources with our families throughout the program.
