Today, February 4th, on World Cancer Day we are working to “Close the Care Gap”. The American Cancer Society is working around the globe to end cancer as we know it, for everyone. We are focused on global cancer prevention, treatment, and patient support. A commitment to health equity is at the core of our mission, and we collaborate with partners in low and middle-income counties to reduce the stark disparities in cancer outcomes.
