We'd love to see you at Bok Bar TOMORROW, Sunday, October 4! We'll have face painting (by our very own Assistant Principal, Dr. Yakira!), raffles, drink specials, a 50/50 drawing and plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow Southwark families and supporters.

Bok to School is the HSA’s signature fundraising event, and every dollar raised directly supports the teachers and staff at Southwark. Last year, these funds helped provide refreshments during long report card conference days, end-of-year appreciation gifts for every teacher and staff member, an ice cream truck celebration, happy hour gathering, and more! This year, we'll be launching teacher grants to help fund educators’ passion projects and innovative ideas for their classrooms.

Can’t make it tomorrow? You can still help by entering our virtual raffle! Raffle prizes were donated by artists and small businesses in the Bok Building. Many of them are Southwark parents!

DANDELION has just opened more spots for their after school program!

At Dandelion After School, kids don’t just spend the afternoon—they thrive.

We believe young people deserve the time, space, and support to explore their interests, follow their curiosity, and grow in ways that feel meaningful to them. We also believe that real social-emotional learning happens best through play, connection, and experiences that are naturally engaging and joyful.

Dandelion After School is a space where kids build relationships, develop independence, and make choices about how they spend their time. Each afternoon, we offer a mix of creative activities, games, hands-on arts and crafts projects, and neighborhood adventures, plus a nourishing snack to keep everyone energized! Learn more and register here: https://www.thedandelionproject.us/aftercare
